Due to the recent court decision regarding absentee ballot drop boxes, voters are no longer allowed to return their absentee ballots via the use of drop boxes.
Options for returning your absentee ballot:
By mail: The United States Postal Service recommends mailing your ballot at least one week before Election Day. Returning a ballot from overseas may take longer. Absentee ballots must be received by 8:00 P.M. on Election Day.
Hand deliver your ballot to the Clerk’s office by no later than 6:00 p.m. on Election Day. You are not allowed to hand deliver another voter’s ballot regardless of relationship to the voter. You may only return your own ballot to the Clerk’s office.
Drop your absentee ballot off at the polling place (Town Hall) on Election Day by no later than 8:00 p.m.
Please note that absentee ballots may not be returned by email or fax.
