Pet Licenses
All dogs and cats over 5 months old must be licensed. Renewal is due by January 1st with a grace period no later than March 31st.
Expired rabies information must be updated before a tag will be issued. It is the animal owner’s responsibility to provide this information.
For new dogs/cats, you need to provide proof of rabies vaccination, dog/cat’s name, breed, color, age/birthdate and sex. Provide proof of spay/neuter for altered animals. Owners need to provide name, address, phone number, date of birth and driver’s license number.
Dog and cat tags can be purchased at the Town Hall until March 31. Payments can be made by mail or by drop box. Please include a phone number and enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope so the tags can be mailed to you.
Animal Fees:
Spayed/Neutered: $12
Unaltered: $23
Renewals: Due January 1 each year
New Residents: License within 30 days
New adult dog/cat: License within 30 days
Puppies/kittens: License by 5 months of age
Any dogs and cats registered after March 31 will be charged a $25.00 late fee unless it is a new dog or cat. Late dog tags must be purchased from the La Crosse County Clerk (by mail or in person)

FAILURE TO MEET THE LICENSE and/or VACCINATION REQUIREMENT WILL RESULT IN A $243 CITATION IN ADDITION TO THE LATE FEE AND TAG FEE
No more than 2 dogs and 3 cats over the age of three (3) months are allowed to any individual owner or family unit living together. All dogs in the Town of Campbell must be kept in their owners yard at all times. Dogs are required to be on a leash when not in their owner’s yard.

Bike Licenses
Bike licenses can be purchased at the Town Hall for a $3 fee. This is a permanent license for as long as you own the bike in the Town of Campbell.
